Bootstrap is a front-end framework. Bootstrap is a free and open-source front-end web framework for designing websites and web applications. Codepen is a front-end development playground. Okay. So when I asked a question about web design at Quora, one Kosha Burnett sent me here to Code Academy. I asked her if coding was a prerequisite for design. She answered,
