DOOR TO DOOR, 2002

Starring William Macy.  What I liked about this film is that it shows persistence and patience in a man for whom has a whole set of additional obstacles beset against him.  In that context, it is hard to take those virtues seriously.  But more than anyone, he relied more on these virtues than any fasting talking, upbeat, hipster kind of salesman.  I found it wonderful.  Here is a quick summary of the film and here is a second trailer if you don't like this one.  The movie at Amazon is under $10.
